Sol and Luna
love their children dearly,
but two above hold high
their esteem most clearly.
they could not be separated,
for the fabric of life
binds them together
woven in stars,
pressed in love's embrace forever.
to wander the skies,
sabaism practiced,
led dreamers to believe
that there was more to love on Atlas.
there is no greater knot
than their fates' inner sanctum
the Gordian is shamed
and is left to ponder, barely fathom ...
what aubades could be sung
for the lovers immortal
the eumoirous that seeps from their eyes
is akin to living in spring's floral
mists.
live on, lover's eternal
share the stars for all time
keep close your sacred hearts
never let the clock chime.

THE MAN WHO NEVER WAS
A lone man sits before a table, staring down at his laptop screen, typing something in quick succession. A typical scene one might deem ordinary, a daily routine in our modern age, everyone does it. So what makes this one special? What I’m saying now may sound cruel and uncaring, but there is nothing special about this individual. He is just a man sitting at his table typing on his laptop, and…! The Man looked up confusedly out of the blue as if he heard something that wasn't supposed to be there. A sharp look of piecing anger briefly showed upon his face as he looked around his tiny kitchen with the scratched floor and white shove. Wait, what is he doing? The light was dim, casting shadows that obscured some corners of the room, making it feel more claustrophobic than it was. The wind outside began to howl, an ominous sound that echoed through the empty kitchen. The Man looked out his window, but nothing but the black of night, and the wind kept howling outside. No boogeymen

Sonja's Transformation - Part 2
It was nearly a fourteen hour drive from Century C.I. to the Florida Keys. Too far to do in one day. It was a few days after their meeting with the warden, when they were pulled out of their solitary cells, strip searched, and issued bright orange transport uniforms again. Handcuffed and shackled, they were loaded into a small unmarked passenger van and the journey began. After stopping briefly for some fast food, they were soon greeted with a familiar sight: the concertina-topped fences of the Lowell C.I. They were taken out of the van, unshackled, and put in a holding cell in Intake for the night, while the drivers slept at a motel down the road. The light never turned off, and the thin mattress was as uncomfortable as it sounds, so they spent a long and sleepless night. Early the next morning, their cell was opened, and their restraints re-applied. They groggily filed back into the van to continue their journey. A few hours in, they left behind the swampy interior for the

So In-Love With My Jesus
I can't believe how long I've gone,
Without feeling You're here,
I thought I'd die, I thought I'd fall,
But You made Your presence clear,
You tested me,
That I would follow what I know,
And I believe,
That You are here when You don't show,
And I will say,
That You're alive 'cause it's a fact,
And I proclaim,
That You're my Lord; I'm never going back,
I've come too far and walked too long,
And there's no way that I can say,
I never felt You by my side,
You always heard me when I prayed,
I know You're here within myself,
And that You love me more than life,
I want to breathe You into me,
Like rain on a hot mid-summers night,
